CONTACT LENSES
In addition to their other uses, they are used chiefly in correcting the refractive error in the eye. They are of many types depending on their materials used. (1) Hard (2) Semi Hard (GP) (3) Soft (4) Ultrasoft. Then they are classified on their use in refractive lens (1) Spherical (2) Toric (3) Multifocal (4) Coloured lens. They are also used for changing the colours of the eyes(Coloured contact lenses). They can be used from few hours (8-10hrs) to as long on week without removing depending on their material make up.
